Reflections on VOXA’s debut season and the road ahead

As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on VOXA’s very first year. A year that was as exhilarating as it was transformative. I’ve lived a big part of my life in professional golf, from playing on tour to captaining Europe at the Solheim Cup, but stepping into the role of building something from the ground up… that was entirely new territory.

And I can honestly say: I’ve never experienced anything quite like this.

Launching VOXA was a whirlwind. We were onboarding players, travelling to tournaments, figuring out systems and operations in real time. I’ll be the first to admit there were plenty of learning curves. I’ve captained Europe, I’ve stood over putts to win the Solheim Cup, but running an organisation like this stretches you in completely different ways.

The moment everything crystallised came only after the dust started to settle. Our players began telling us that our approach felt different from anything they’d experienced. That VOXA felt like a family. That they felt part of something bigger than themselves.

And then the feedback started to come – from fans, industry leaders, even players who weren’t part of our roster – telling us they loved what we are building, the stories we are championing, and the standards we are pushing for. That was the moment it truly landed for me: our mission at VOXA wasn’t just internal anymore. It was resonating, being noticed, filtering into the wider golf world.

We’re still only at the beginning, and there is so much more to do but it’s become clear that VOXA is already growing into something bigger than just an agency. It has become a catalyst. A voice for progress in women’s golf, from grassroots to the top of the game.

That was the moment I knew we were on the right path.

What surprised me most this year was just how clear the gap was – a gap I’m not sure many fully recognised. Women’s golf needed an engine built by women, for women. A place where the focus wasn’t only on managing careers, but on giving back to the game, elevating its visibility, and driving the conversations that matter. Filling that gap wasn’t just necessary but it was overdue.

My playing career taught me a lot, resilience, grit, what it takes to win, but maybe more importantly how to manage losses. My Solheim Cup captaincy taught me unity, how to bring together women who spend every week competing against each other and ask them to chase one goal, together. Leading VOXA has felt like an extension of those lessons.

This year reinforced the power of togetherness: what happens when people truly believe in a shared mission. It taught me how important it is to keep pushing our sport into boardrooms, brand conversations, and new spaces so people can see what we’ve always known – that women’s golf is world-class, dynamic, and deeply valuable.

If 2025 was about building the foundation, then 2026 is about acceleration.

We’re not taking our foot off the gas. Not even close. There is still so much for us to do.

We have bold plans that go well beyond traditional athlete management. We’re developing projects that – without giving too much away – have the potential to shift the industry in ways we haven’t seen before. We want to set new standards for how players are supported, how stories are told, and how fans are brought into the heart of the game.

And we’re going to keep showing up for athletes, for fans, for stakeholders, for anyone who wants to see women’s golf rise even higher.

To our partners, players, their teams and families, our staff, supporters, and the fans who’ve stopped us at events or messaged to say “We love what VOXA is doing” – thank you. Truly.

If you want to join this journey, we’re here, and we’re listening. My hope is that everything we do continues to make people pause, pay attention, and admire just how extraordinary the women’s game really is.

Here’s to our first year and to the even bigger leaps ahead in 2026.
